My May Day
This I remember:
to hold this day,
enfold it’s song,
seal in it’s sky.
How can I let it flow away
without cupping my hands?
All I can keep is
what I remember.
I lived, I prayed, and I shared.

Prom Dresses
It’s prom time!
Beautiful ladies
Of all shapes and sizes
Put on their finest gowns
Some are lavender
Some are lacey pink
Others are elegant white
Some are blends of purples and greens
Some are various shades of red
But all warrant a second look
Cameras come out
Snapshots are taken
Show them around
Who is the most beautiful?
Willowy arms
Cloaked in finery
Spin in the warm
Spring breeze
And frolic in the sun
it is prom time
And nature has
Donned her most elegant garb
To celebrate the dance of spring

Spring Scenes
Today is a wonderful day and I am happy
Knowing that tomorrow might never arrive
Seeing flowers this early Spring blooming
Makes this whole wide world become alive
Fragrance we can smell of a Purple Lilac
So dainty are the petals of its pretty bloom
Growing in those large clusters of beauty
On branches where there is no more room
White clouds float by this warm April day
Hiding the Sun as playing a childs game
Robins are picking up straw for their nest
I walk near them and they seem so tame
If you my friend will open wide your eyes
There is so much beauty for us to behold
These scenes don't cost you any money
But they are worth much more than Gold
